Amanda Hoy joined Devry Smith Frank LLP in December of 2018, focusing on corporate law, wills and estates, and real estate law. She was born in Oshawa and raised in Clarington. Amanda graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology and Justice Studies from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology in Oshawa.
Amanda completed her law degree at Michigan State University College of Law in 2015. While attending Michigan State, she was a member of the Canadian Legal Association, an organization, which provides support and mentoring services for incoming and current Canadian students attending MSU Law.
After obtaining her law degree, Amanda moved back to Ontario and articled with the firm McGibbon, Bastedo, Armstrong and Armstrong in Oshawa, prior to her call to the bar in September of 2017. In addition, Amanda is a proud member of the Rotary Club of Bowmanville. Amanda is experienced in land severance applications.
